Clubsinseconds
Another first for Blue Sky! We have recently created and launched our very first auction website for two South Wales Professional Golfers. They had an idea which they wanted to take further and, following our initial meetings, we created the identity for Golf4u Limited, together with the brand ‘Clubsinseconds’.
Set up to facilitate the buying and selling of all things golf, the brand has since been developed and supported with print and internet promotional material plus exhibition display stands. Already attracting a lot of interest from the UK, Europe and even from across the pond in America, we wish the boys every success in their exciting new business venture.

Blue Monday
Dylan Thomas’ ‘Under Milk Wood’ has been given a modern twist in this new film written by Rob Gittins and directed by Suzanne Phillips. Currently in production, the film required a particular visual setting to support the radical theme…which is where Blue Sky came in.
You can see the results for yourself in the following trailer www.bluemondayfilm.co.uk. We hope you like it as much as we do!
Welsh mental health charity Gofal now has a new look, a new website and a new brochure
With a mission to challenge the way mental health is perceived throughout the region, Gofal felt the time was right to move forward into a challenging future armed with a new look.
Initially their logo was chosen thanks to a competition run by Swansea’s Metropolitan University. Gofal’s next step was to choose the right company to create and implement a total overhaul of their brand. And that company was Blue Sky Media.
With a brief to produce new bi-lingual leaflets, a 16 page brochure, a content managed website, a 24 page annual report, external signage plus a host of promotional items such as balloons, T-shirts, key rings, mugs and pens etc, the team had to pull out all the stops to deliver on time and on budget… but we did! And we have to say we are very pleased with the results, as are Gofal!
In a World where mental health is too often misunderstood or discriminated against, we are proud to be associated with such a positive and forward thinking organisation.

Wow – a good-looking low-bandwidth website produced for a major development project in Africa
Having written, designed and built the original Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) website in partnership with Scriptoria, we’ve been busy making it even better by creating a French version and a fast downloading ‘text-only’ version. And here at Bluesky Media we have to say that we’re very proud of the final product for an organisation that is mobilising hundreds of millions of dollars to help fight poverty in Africa.
The new text-only version of the CAADP website is great for use in remote areas where internet speeds are slow. This means that CAADP can communicate with policy makers and farmer and development organisations right across Africa. But, what we like most is the fact that we were able to do this without compromising on the great-looking design and user-friendly aspects of the site.
To see what we mean, go to www.nepad-caadp.net and click on the ‘text-only’ link at the top right-hand corner of the home page: you’ll find a simplified version that still looks good. The graphics aren’t there, but the integrity of the design remains. This is in stark contrast with many other text-only sites which can be boring to look at and difficult to use. And if you’re a French speaker, don’t forget to take a quick peek at the French language version.
The CAADP website is an important part of a communications package, developed with Scriptoria, that is helping to spread the programme’s vision for boosting agricultural productivity in Africa. Hopefully, this latest addition to the website will help CAADP hold fast to its reputation for ‘flagship’ communications among Africa’s rural development sector.

Remploy Primary and Early years Furniture Catalogue – just child’s play to the designers at Bluesky Media
Having been Remploy’s agency of choice for many years, we were delighted to win the contract to produce their first Primary School Furniture Catalogue.
As a new venture for Remploy, this 136 page, full-colour brochure was quite a challenge, as it had to be produced from a blank canvas in just 3 short months. But we’ve always liked a challenge and are proud to say that it was completed and delivered on time and within budget.
Remploy Furniture has been the UK’s leading employer of disabled people for more than 60 years, committed to providing the highest quality, fit-for-purpose products whilst leading the way in planning and installing purpose-built learning environments across the UK. We are extremely proud to be associated with this flagship company, supplying the literature they need to help them promote their products and services to their customers more effectively. |
